How to Care for a Daily Wear Gold Ring

A 22ct gold daily wear ring is one of the lowest-maintenance pieces of jewellery you can own. It does not tarnish. It does not need specialist care. A monthly rinse with warm water and a small amount of washing-up liquid, followed by a gentle brush with a baby toothbrush and a pat dry, is sufficient for a plain or lightly textured ring.

Remove before: swimming in chlorinated water, heavy manual work, contact sports. Leave on for: handwashing, showering, gentle exercise, daily office work — solid 22ct gold handles all of these without issue.
