Gents Rings

What Are 22ct Gold Gents Rings?

A 22ct gold ring for men contains 91.6% pure gold — the same high-purity standard that defines traditional South Asian jewellery. Unlike the 9ct or 14ct rings common in Western men’s jewellery, a 22ct ring has a distinctively deeper yellow colour and carries significantly higher intrinsic gold value. In South Asian tradition, a man’s gold ring is a symbol of status, of significant occasions, and — in the case of a wedding ring or engagement ring — of a life commitment. At PureJewels, every gents ring is independently hallmarked by the London Assay Office.

Why Order from PureJewels?

•   50+ years of men’s gold jewellery expertise: PureJewels has been making and selling 22ct gold rings for men in the South Asian community in the UK for over five decades. Our gents rings are designed with the ethos of modernity and practicality — made to go with everything from a sherwani to a suit.
•   Custom sizing on request: Many of our gents rings can be made to a specific size if the standard T or S size does not fit. Contact us via Live Chat or visit Green Street to discuss custom sizing. Most custom orders take 2–4 weeks.
•   Engraving service available: Our signet rings feature a flat, polished face that is the ideal canvas for personalised engraving — initials, a family crest, a date, or a meaningful symbol. Engraving from £75. Allow at least one week for engraved orders.
•   Transparent gram weight on every listing: Every gents ring listing shows the exact gram weight. This is how you compare real value — not by how the ring looks in a photograph, but by how much 22ct gold it actually contains.
•   Free first-order size exchange: If the ring does not fit, we will exchange it for the correct size at no charge on your first order. Resizing is available for most plain band designs at our Green Street showroom.

Gents Ring Styles at PureJewels

Plain Band Rings — Daily Wear

A smooth, plain-profile ring in polished or satin-finish 22ct gold. The most versatile choice for daily wear — works with traditional and Western clothing alike. Available in flat-band and rounded-profile constructions. Weights typically 4–7g for a lighter daily ring. From £330. These are the rings that become part of a man — worn continuously until they take on the shape of the finger.

Signet Rings — Classic & Engravable

The signet ring is one of the oldest forms of men’s jewellery — historically used as a personal seal, pressed into wax to authenticate documents. Our 22ct gold signet rings feature a flat, broad face available for personalised engraving. At 11g, our standard signet ring sits with genuine authority on the hand — substantial without being ostentatious. Available in size T with custom sizing on request. From £900+.

Patterned & Textured Bands

Rings with surface detailing — diamond-cut facets, engraved geometric patterns, twisted profiles, or nature-inspired textures. More decorative than a plain band without being a statement ring. Weights typically 5–10g. Popular for grooms who want a wedding ring with more visual interest than a plain band.

Dress & Occasion Rings

Heavier rings (9–15g) with more elaborate designs — embossed surfaces, stone-set elements (CZ or coloured stones), or sculptural profiles. Worn for weddings, receptions, and formal occasions. Often gifted by the bride’s family to the groom as part of the ring ceremony (mangni / sagai).

Wedding Bands for Men

A matching or coordinated wedding band to wear alongside an engagement ring or as a standalone wedding ring. Available in plain and patterned finishes in 22ct gold. For men marrying in South Asian traditions, the wedding band is often given at the ring exchange ceremony during the shaadi or nikah and worn on the right hand.
