22ct Gold Antique Style Bridal Necklace

An Asian jewellery set is a group of coordinated pieces — typically a necklace, earrings, and often a tikka, jhumar, or bangles — designed to be worn together for a wedding or formal occasion. Unlike Western jewellery sets that focus on matching stone colours, South Asian jewellery sets coordinate in goldwork technique, surface finish, and design language — so every piece looks like it belongs with every other, even if the pieces are built from a collection over time rather than bought together.
At PureJewels, our sets are not pre-packaged bundles. They are collections — Armari, Rosettes, Jali Filigree, Maharani — where every item within a collection coordinates with every other item. You can buy the necklace now, the earrings for a reception, and the tikka for the main ceremony — and they will all work together, because they share the same design DNA.
Our flagship occasion and bridal collection. Heavily embossed 22ct gold with a distinctive antique finish — the raised surfaces catch light while the recessed areas create depth and shadow, giving each piece a three-dimensional quality that photographs cannot fully capture. The Armari necklace, jhumkar, tikka, and bangles are among the most worn pieces in our Green Street showroom. From £2,500 for individual Armari pieces; full sets by consultation.
Inspired by the rosette motif — a circular petal arrangement found in Mughal architecture. Hand-finished in 22ct gold with a matte surface that distinguishes it clearly from the polished pieces in our other collections. The Rosettes set is the most complete we offer — necklace, earrings, bangles, tikka, nose pin, and ring all coordinate. From £1,850 for the Rosettes tikka; full set enquiries via Live Chat.
Open-lattice goldwork — fine threads of gold twisted and soldered into intricate geometric patterns. Bold in visual presence but lighter in weight than solid pieces of the same size, making Jali pieces practical for a full wedding day. The Jali Filigree jhumka (£4,495–£6,815) is one of the most recognisable pieces in our collection. Tikka from £2,135; chand bali from £2,880.
Our most significant collection — the 22ct Gold Blue Enamel Maharani necklace at £21,645 is the most substantial single piece we make. Meenakari enamel work in blue and green, heavily embossed 22ct gold, worn by brides whose wedding is the most important day of their family’s decade. For consultation on the Maharani Collection, visit Green Street or WhatsApp +44 7384 814118.
Our exclusive 22ct Sunrise Gold alloy produces a warm, dawn-toned yellow distinct from standard 22ct gold. The Sunrise Gold bridal jhumar (£5,010), the Rosettes drop earrings (£3,730), and the Sunrise Gold tikka coordinate beautifully with standard yellow gold pieces — the slight tonal difference creates a layered, natural look rather than a uniform one.

✎ NOTE: Many bridal set pieces are available individually — buy the necklace first and add coordinating pieces for each ceremony. Our team can help you plan via Live Chat or in our Green Street showroom.
A Hindu bride traditionally wears the solah shringar — sixteen adornments including maang tikka, necklace, earrings, bangles, nose ring, anklets, and rings. PureJewels can build a coordinated set across all of these elements from within our collections.
A Sikh bride at the Anand Karaj typically wears a full necklace, jhumkar, and a jhumar as a side head ornament — the latter being a specifically Punjabi bridal tradition. Our Sunrise Gold Bridal Jhumar (£5,010) and Armari Jhumar (£4,775) are our most popular pieces for Sikh brides.
At a Nikah, the bride’s jewellery is often the most visible expression of the family’s regard for the occasion. Heavy gold necklaces, jhumka earrings, and stacked bangles are traditional across Pakistani and Bangladeshi wedding styles. Our Armari and Jali Filigree collections are most popular for Muslim brides.
A South Asian bridal jewellery set typically includes a necklace (the centrepiece), earrings (jhumka or chand bali), and a tikka or jhumar (head ornament). For a more complete set, bangles, a nose piece, rings, and anklets may also be included — all coordinated in the same collection design. At PureJewels, our Armari, Rosettes, and Jali Filigree collections each offer every one of these elements, so a full coordinated set is achievable within a single collection.
We recommend starting your bridal jewellery search at least 3–6 months before your wedding date. Many of our more significant pieces — particularly the Maharani Collection and larger Armari necklaces — are made to order or limited in quantity. Starting early also gives you time to build a set piece by piece if you prefer, or to arrange an interest-free instalment plan for the full set. Visit our Green Street showroom or open Live Chat to begin.
Yes — and many brides do this intentionally. Mixing an Armari necklace with Jali Filigree earrings, for example, creates a look with more visual contrast than a single-collection set. Our team can advise on which pieces coordinate well across collections based on their finish, scale, and goldwork technique. The most important principle is matching the metal — keep all pieces in 22ct yellow gold or all in Sunrise Gold, unless you are deliberately contrasting tones.
Yes — and we strongly encourage visiting for bridal purchases. Our showroom at 290–292 Green Street, Forest Gate, London E7 carries pieces not yet listed online, and our advisors can help you try pieces, understand coordination, and build a full set within your budget. No appointment is needed for a general visit, though calling ahead (+44 20 8470 1221) is helpful for bridal consultations so we can set aside dedicated time for you.
