Inspiration
The Indian Lotus represents strength and beauty at PureJewels. This aesthetic features regularly in our collections and is often the source of inspiration for our design team. The fluid notes, the representation of journeys and the edginess in the contours is what makes the aesthetics of this key so attractive.
The Key is a symbol of trust and new opportunities. The design of this adheres to our brand’s design aesthetics very closely. It has the sculpted form of organic shapes, like the lotus flower and also a confident asymmetric balance. We hope you love this as much as we enjoyed designing and crafting it.
Design
Our design process starts with inspiration and the design team will take many references from our brand’s aesthetic guidelines and also the historic symbolisms of the ideas behind the Key.
Once the forms are finalised, our design team will start crafting the shape and contours using a wax carving method. The artist’s eye for this is imporant. The contours, shapes, sculpted nature, proportions and balance are all considered.This item has then been perfected on metal until we have a masterpiece.
The next step in the process is to create a mould from which all the pieces are cast and then finished and polished by hand. Our gem setters will then hand set the piece depending on the colours required and the precious gems selected by our gemologists.
The key is made in our proprietary 22ct sunrise gold and is available in 18ct hazelnut gold as well as Platinum.
Style
Pendants are accessories that are super dynamic. The same pendant can be worn for almost all occasions just by changing the way one styles them. So style this heart pendant in any way you like, with a number of other pendants or chains and over casual or even heavier outfits.
